At BlueRidge Huskies, we stand behind the health of every puppy we produce. Our 2-year health guarantee reflects our confidence in our breeding program and our commitment to producing healthy puppies.
What's Covered
Our health guarantee covers the following genetic and hereditary conditions:
- Hip Dysplasia
- Elbow Dysplasia
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
- Hereditary Cataracts
- Degenerative Myelopathy
- Other genetic conditions that significantly affect quality of life
Parent Health Testing
All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing before being included in our program:
- OFA Hip Evaluation: Good or Excellent rating required
- OFA Elbow Evaluation: Normal rating required
- CERF Eye Certification: Annual examination
- Genetic Panel: Testing for breed-specific hereditary conditions
- Cardiac Evaluation: Heart health screening
Your Puppy's Health Records
Every BlueRidge puppy comes with:
- Complete vaccination records
- Deworming history
- Veterinary health certificate (within 72 hours of departure)
- Microchip registration information
- Parent health testing documentation
Guarantee Terms
To maintain the validity of our health guarantee:
- Puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival
- Puppy must be maintained on a high-quality diet appropriate for large breed puppies
- Puppy must receive recommended veterinary care including vaccinations and preventatives
- Puppy must not be spayed/neutered before 12 months of age
In the event of a covered condition being diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and confirmed by a specialist if requested, we offer either a replacement puppy of equal value or a partial refund at our discretion.
