Bringing home a BlueRidge Husky is an exciting journey! Here's what to expect from our adoption process.
Step 1: Initial Inquiry
Contact us via our website, email, or phone to express your interest. We'll respond within 24-48 hours to schedule a conversation about your family, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a Husky companion.
Step 2: Application
Complete our adoption application. We ask questions about your home environment, previous pet experience, and how you plan to care for your new puppy. This helps us ensure a good match for both you and the puppy.
Step 3: Meet & Greet
For local families, we welcome visits to meet our dogs and see our facilities. For out-of-state families, we arrange video calls to meet the puppies and answer any questions.
Step 4: Puppy Selection
Once approved, you can select your puppy from available litters. We provide ongoing photos and videos as your puppy grows, so you can watch their development from afar.
Step 5: Reservation Deposit
A $500 reservation deposit secures your chosen puppy. This deposit is non-refundable but is credited toward the total purchase price.
Step 6: Preparation
While waiting for your puppy, we provide a preparation checklist and resources to help you prepare your home. We're always available to answer questions!
Step 7: Final Payment
The remaining balance is due at least 7 days before your puppy's scheduled departure date. We accept various payment methods including bank transfer and cryptocurrency.
Step 8: Puppy Goes Home
At 8-10 weeks of age, your puppy is ready to come home! We offer local pickup and professional pet transport services for out-of-state families.
Step 9: Lifetime Support
Our relationship doesn't end when your puppy goes home. We're here for advice, training tips, and support throughout your dog's life. Welcome to the BlueRidge family!
